A few of the improvements were: fashion columns, car columns, more and better pictures, and a new name plate designed by Pat Kennedy. Then in the conference cham- pionship game against Sedalia, Coach Roark,s charges fought hard but could only come off the field with a 0-O tie. Playing the type of ball they were capable of, the opposition was smothered in the next three games. M.M.A. was beaten 33-13, Fulton 9-O, and Kemper 53-O, with almost every- b0dy scoring.
