Student The Student Council of Hickman High School is a body of students selected from the various home rooms, dedicated to living cooperatively in the high school. A student council does not mean student self-government, but it does mean student participation in government. Dr. Dixon is the adviser ol' the group and Giles Vliinter, student president, presides over the meetings. Candy sales in the cafeteria and the proceeds from the Kewpic Karnival provide the finances. Last year the council inaugurated a new under- taking, the handbook, which is to he a yearly feature. so invalu- able has it proved to be.
