EAGER LETTERMEN SYMBOLIZE ATHLETICS Founded to promote better sports- manship and to encourage the develop- ment of athletics, the H Club is indica- tive of the large number of boys who participate in school sports. Any boy winning a letter in any school sport is eligible to membership. Each Friday is H day and all members wear their sweaters on that day. Every girl in 'senior high school may become a mem- ber of the organization and be permitted to assist with the work of the League. A Christmas assembly of sacred music was sponsored by the Girls' League. Also the Hollyberry Tea, and the Mardi Gras dance was sponsored by the League. Each year a scholarship is awarded to an outstanding senior girl. The League supports high scho- Iostic, democratic, moral, and social standards. Most of the work of the League is directed by an executive board con- sisting ot the officers and the committee chairmen. Adviser for the Girls' League is Miss Ruth Quigley, dean of girls. Travel films are shown with the hope that at some time a small group of students might tour Europe with an adviser as guide. Members of the French Club are students who have or who are studying French.
