Patricia Kreis hettered the record in the hroad iump, also. with a leap of twelve feet nine inches during the annual track meet held in Clheever Stadium under Miss Thihodeau's supervision. The girls who placed in other events are as follows: Ninth grade: Rose Caligiuri. Pat Ciriiliths. Theresa Caligiuri, Lorraine lidman. Helen Sikich, and Helen Rapinac. Tenth grade: Agnes lionvincin, lithel Laurie, Alvce Lamson, Patricia Kreis. and Marv Margaret Grifliths. Eleventh grade: Veronica Iohanix. Mary Enich. Corinne Anderson. Margaret Love, Rose Maras. and Selma Povich. Twelfth grade: Lena Giomhetti, Ann VVolfe, and Aurelia Paciotti. The meet was won hy the iuniors who piled tip nineteen points, with the sophomores placing three points hehind, and the seniors finishing last with fifteen. Many rackets were given a work-out during the tennis season. A tourna- ment was started and thirty girls entered, hut hetween showers and reserved courts just the second round was completed. Kick-off comes the command. The hall flies down the field and is he- ing kicked hack again hy the fullhack. lt's not a misplay, hut iust a group of girls playing speedball-the comhination haskethall and foothall game.
