E IORS We, the class of '65, have made a last- ing impression at H,H.S. Employingour many skills, we have excelled in every phase of high school life--scholastically, athletically, dramatically, and socially. The memorable events of our senior year will be called to our minds with immense joy and satis- faction. Scholastic accomplishments and rewards have been numerous, athletic records have been broken and re-established, and only a class like ours could have pro- vided so many lovely girls as queens and princesses. Our Senior Play, Flight Into Danger , was an amazing success which showed off our talent in a dramatic play. The excellent prom was the social event of the year put on in our behalf--thanks, jun- iors! With these activities, we tucked away a few sentimental souvenirs to help us recall in our coming years, our tremendous senior year. We feel especially privileged to have had two great honors bestowed upon our class: we are the first senior class to have sung the new Alma Mater of Hiawatha High School, and, we are the first also to have had a foreign exchange student--Joselito Britto, our friend from Brazil. His keen intelligence and charming Brazilian per- sonality have made him popular among the students of H.H,S, and the people of our community. As we come to the end of a long journey, we now realize these have been some of the best years of our lives.
