DEDICATION Mr. Dennis— We, the Bicentennial class of 1976, wish to dedicate this Hawk Annual to a man who has helped to build character in the classroom as well as on the playing field. In his short 3 years here, he has been an excellent addition to the football coaching staff and a pleasing friend to all. We know he will be an inspiration to all the underclassmen in years to come. So, for all you have done for sports and education at Hiawatha High School, we thank you and dedicate this annual to you, Mr. Dennis. 'w. J£U- -dL aM d . We, the 1976 Annual Staff, wish to preseM this annual to you in hopes that you will remember fondly the memories that are held within tiiis book. . %X. i(P zvT JlW 4 THIS FANTASTIC ANNUAL BROUGHT TO YOU BY FRONT: Lori Ferb, Co-editors Brad Henry MIDDLE co-editor Don Ester, Lori Emling, Chris Heggemeier, Sue Aves, Roger Witzel; BACK; Advisor Mr. Way, Cathy Finnigan, Lynne Plote ADMINISTRATION CUVSS OF 76 Achievement or Success? Achievement is the knowledge that you have studied and worked hard and done the best that is in you. Success is being praised by others, too, but not as important or satisfying. Always aim for achievement and forget about success. Don't be afraid to take a big step if one is indicated. You can't cross a chasm in two small jumps.
