Dana House i Four g1rls at Dana House th1s year are rn the erghth grade the other exght are Freshmen At the be Each week certaln grrls are assrgned varrous dunes The glrls on house duty wake up all the other girls and the teacher on breakfast duty at 7 00 Two g1rls on breakfast duty w1th the teacher hurry downstalrs at 7 15 and start preparrng breakfast At 7 30 we assemble ln the d1n1ng room to eat After breakfast the two grrls that are on breakfast duty stack the drshes and strarghten up the d1n1ng room wh1le the others are stralghtemng thelr rooms At 8 30 we are off to school where we soak up knowl edge unt1l4 00 Back at Dana House we change our Clothes and get ready for study hall Before we know II we are trudglng back to the school house fwe are very pracuced walkerslj At8 30 after study hall Mrs Dalyrymple drrves us back to Dana House The two g1r1s that are on et ung up duty setthe table for breakfast If the laundry 15 back that day the two laundry duty glrls sort the laundry accordlng to rooms Untrl 9 30 we have free tlme ro do as we wlsh Qusually that s anyth1ng but homework J The teachers Mrs Pennell H1155 Holden Mrss Lubbock and Mtss O Connor have really been swell to us all We have enjoyed llllllg at Dana House for a year and only WlSh rt had lasted longer busan C asuller Joanne Wxlder 31 x Eu 5:5 ,.. .D ' X A ' 1 a-' ' ft, . . , '.,' ' K H ',.4X, ginning of the year we made up a Dana House Song, which we sang at the Talent Show.
