JIMMY DeVENNY Auburn University, B.S. Physical Education The purpose of physical educa- tion at Hewitt this year extends past health fitness . Through a well-rounded program of activities Hewitt has added interest in respon- sible conduct and participation in competitive sports . Along with these, another important purpose of physical education is sportsman- ship In order to play effectively on a team, one must first have good sportsmanship . For those students who take an extra interest in physical education, they may serve as a physical edu- cation assistant. School Personnel •in. WtJ i MRS. DELLA SUTTER Mrs. Sutter has been Hewitt ' s receptionist and bookkeeper for many years. She keeps entries of each club ' s funds and keeps Hewitt running smoothly. MRS. MARGIE ROPER Mrs. Roper is a very capable record keeper. She is in charge of students grades, permanent records, and transfers. MRS. MARION ORMOND Mrs. Ormond, Hewitt ' s advisor, went to Birmingham Southern and the University of Alabama where she received her A.B. and M.A. degrees. She has been a great help to Hewitt in the past seventeen years. 23
