Special Dedication to Dale From the Seniors Dale was our friend. He had a special way of livening up any room he walked into and making everyone smile and laugh with his good mood and continuous humor. When Dale was around it seemed like no one was unhappy or bored. We miss this quality of Dale’s personality because when we find ourselves down and feeling bad, his smiling face and laughs are no longer there. Many of us looked up to Dale as a big brother, someone who was willing to help whenever we needed him. Dale was one of us. We shared many great times. Those times still exist but they are different now. We are still a class but someone is missing. Everything seems strange without Dale’s vitality and laughter to fill the air. A day does not go by that he is not in our thoughts and we will remember him forever. Dale will always be in our memories and we will forever treasure his friendship and the many unforget- table times he helped to make. Also, we will hold onto the thought that he is still a part of the Class of ‘83’, sharing these memories with us. 5

Dedication to Mr. James Ray Peacock We, the Class of 1983, are missing a dear friend — a man who over the years always showed faith in our generation — a man who considered us better prepared to face the problems of the world than previous generations. He believed that we have learned from the past, are enjoying the present and have confidence in the future. His logic, his sense of humor, his willingness to serve, his sincere personal interest made him a man whom we’ll long remember as a true friend. To Mr. James Ray Peacock we dedicate our yearbook. From all of us, Mr. Peacock, Thank You and “Requiescat in Pace.”

Appreciation to Faculty and Advisors We, the Class of 1983, would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the faculty of Heuvelton Central School. Throughout the past twelve years, you have taught, encouraged, and helped us to realize that by striving for the best, we could achieve our goals. We would like to also express our gratitude to our three class advisors — Mr. Dezell, Miss Seymour, and Mr. Goccia. These faculty members were willing to take on the responsibility of being Senior Class Ad- visors. A special thanks is in order to Mr. Dezell, not only for being our class advisor, but also for assuming the yearbook advisorship. It is difficult to single out every member of the faculty throughout our Elementary, Junior and Senior High years, you have helped prepare us for our futures. So again we would like to extend our appreciation to everyone.
