im mm 1965 HEUVELTON CENTRAL SCHOOL HEUVELTON, NEW YORK James M. Morgan, Supervising Principal 'W$i. yWemorlam Larry Burnham Often quiet, sometimes shy, Larry EuA.nh.am was a coMcJ.zntj.oui person who wcu aware of his respoMibilities and am determined to do his beit in everything he tackled. He always wore a friendly grin and he had an embarrassed mu of offering helpful iuggeitioM at clan meetings which endeared him td his classmatei. We greatly admired him for the my he never complained nor found fault in people. His wai a silent strength, and no one knows to what high goal Ivis disciplined nature would have carried him. We, the senior class, feel it is very fitting that the 1965 Heuveltonian contain a memoriam to a very fine classmate, Larry Burnham. JTIemonatn Wes Knowtton Tull to the bnim with enexgy and ahoayA on the. go axe penhaps the best ways to descxibe the active pexson Wei Knowtton was. Haxd-wonking and nesponsible, he pexfonmed his demanding job fon many yeans with what ieemed to be inexhaustible enexgy. He enjoyed immenAe populaxity not onty with the cormunity, which nespeeted and admitted him, but oIao with the AtudentA who liked the way he would Amile and maybe attach a tittle joke to hit cheexy hello. The senion cIoaa nemembens how he would dxive the buA that took ua to Ao many of, oua activities, arid we knew that his was a kind and gentle heant. To us he was mone-- veny much mone--than juAt a man who got up in the middle of a cold wintny night to make Aune that the buseA would Atant fox Achool in the moaning. Thexe- fone, we the clasA of 1965 feel that oux yeaxbook would be incomplete without a memoniam to Wei Knowtton, in deepest appneciation fon what he has done fon ua and fon so many, and in the hopes that we may follow his fine example. Dedication M t. John Allen and Ma. Man.li Le.nney Bering a clatt ad.vltoa--pafitlculaAly to junlont--lt not an eaty job.
