SOPHOMORE CLASS NEWS This year we have settled down to high school routine and our senior year now seems attainable. We are taking an active part in extra-curricular activities, and our members are well represented in chorus, band, cheerleading, and athletics. Our social activities are limited, so we are looking forward to the junior year when we can get our school rings, sponsor the Junior Prom, and have class parties. Our officers for the year were: President ......... Vice-president . . Secretary ......... Treasurer ......... Fred Ashworth Mary Breckenridge . Mary Ann Nardi . . . Mary Link 12

Our most important contribution to the school was the selection of a school crest. Early in the fall, we decided that our school rings would be fashioned with a uniform crest which will be used as the official symbol for the school. We hope the classes that follow us like this crest I We had many gay social events. The highlight of the year was, of course, the Junior Prom. We worked diligently on the various committees and our time was well spent. The Town Hall was beautiful, the orchestra smooth, and everyone had a wonderful, unforgettable evening. We had three super social evenings. Our Halloween party was a riotous success. The sleigh ride that followed was fun and we enjoyed the hot chocolate and dancing that followed. Our class picnic in June was a fitting conclusion to a glorious yearl Our officers for the year were: President . . Vice-president Secretary . ». Treasurer . .
