Pour years have gone by since we arrived as bewildered Freshmen. Although our number has dwindled, here we are at last, being measured for caps and gowns, sending out invitations, and impatiently waiting for the final day when we re- ceive our diplomas. Our freshmen and sophomore years went by all too fast. We had our class meetings, picnics, sleighrides; we began our money making ventures to finance our senior trip to Washington. At last we were JuniorsJ We were frantically busy from the beginning of the school year to the end. First of all, we chose our class rings—and we have been wearing them with pride ever since. Then we had to assemble and pub- lish the Yearbook. We scurried around getting advertisements, taking pictures, and typing the copy. We all breathed a tremendous sigh of relief when that job was done. The Junior Prom in May was, of course, the highlight of the year. Dancing under the stars was our theme, and we spent days cutting out blue stars and streamers. In addition, the hall was decorated with spring flowers and everything looked beautiful. A large, appreciative crowd watched charming Eloise Mix and handsome Lowell Murdock as they were crowned Prom Queen and King. Everyone had a super-wonderful time. Wbw we are dignified and sedate Seniors. Our annual Supper and Auction was held on Washington's birthday and our treasury was swelled with the pro- ceeds. The senior play, ALMOST SUMMER, was shown to a packed audience on March 10. (Johnny Mayne as Paul was certainly terrific, wasn't he?) We are now looking forward with eager anticipation to our annual senior trip to Washington, D.C. Looking back over the carefree years of school, we find we have, in- 7
