Softball X K B HXX O O D 3 d ROW The panthers opened the season on Sept 15 W1th a llttle defeat by St Pats 3 to 1 On Sept 22 they came back w1th a flashlng v1ctory over OFal1ons 10 to 4 The followmg Week on the 29 they gave Platte Valley a good trlmmmg to the tune of 21 to 7 The next wee: t1c bo, sllpped a l1ttle and let St Pats w1n 6 to 12 end1ng the f1rst half of the season On the beg1nn1ng of the second half of the season the boys came back agamst O'Fallons to take a v1ctory over them for the second t1me 1n one year, to the tune of 9 to 6 1n a very fast ball game On Oct 20th they met Platte Valley 1n a 1 easy v1ctory 18 to 5 The last game of the season was played at home, the 27th day of Oct The boys came out on the f1eld havmg a perfect afternoon and went to town w1th a v1ctory over Tryon 15 to 9, endlng a good season of Soft Ball 29 1 ' ti. ,,,,E Y ,...
