Cheerleaders Inspire Basketball Teams Once again, this year's 1981-82 Boy's Basketball Cheerleaders had a lot of pep and enthusiasm. Each squad led cheers to spark their teams to victory. The squads had practice every Wednesday night for two hours. The varsity cheerleaders, along with the Fall Club, learned new mounts and lifts from Mr. Han- non and alumni cheerleaders. These tricks were done over and over until they were ready to be performed at games. This year's varsity squad was led by co-captains Sue Sobeski and Randy Evans. The captain of the sopho- more squad was Ginger Wendt, and the captain of the freshman squad was Cathy Soyka. Working with all of these squads were sponsors Mr. RJ. Hannon and Mrs. Bridget Lucas. All squads did an excellent job cheering at games and pep assemblies. by Jeanne Foloky jerry Stopper and Al Kastner get the fans rowdy at pep assem- blies. Aa-ning., Debi Drake and Colleen Geraty have fun during the basketball games. Kathy Christopherson shows enthusi- astic cheerleading spirit. Jeannine Cook and julie Gardzelewski fire up the freshman basketball team.
