Boys' Tennis Team Battles In Tough Conference The 1981 Boy's Tennis Team had a disappointing season and fell short of their 5th place or better goal. The team finished 10th in a tough conference with a 3-8 dual meet record. In the Niles West Invitational, the Huskies finished 3rd in a field of 10 teams, and in the Main West Quad they finished 2nd, In the conference meet, the Her- sey Tennis Team finished 9th with everyone on the team winning at least one match, and most winning two or more. Despite their record the players practiced with intensity and dedication under the leadership of Mr. Jorgensen in his first Varsity coaching season. One player who had a good season was sophomore lay Woldenberg with an accumulative record of 12-6. by john De Waal N Kee Sohn brings down a high shot from his opponent. Badminton Team Smashes pponents The 1987 Badminton Team ended the season with 4 wins and 8 loses. The most outstanding players were Colleen Enright, Georgette Poulos, Katie Scul- ly, Lynn Wagner and Ann Williams. The Most Vaua- ble Player for the season was Maureen Frank.
