Correspondent Tells It Like It ls! The Correspondent, Hersey's award winning newspaper, does an excellent job of keeping stu- dents informed on major events. The hard working staff of 45 students, most of whom are from journal- ism classes, has managed to publish the Correspon- dent twice a month throughout the 7987-82 school year. Hersey is the only school in the district and one of the few in the state that does all its own work, except for the actual printing of the paper. This takes much time and effort. Every other Sunday the staff spends from 8- 70 hours working on the layout. The stories that appear in the Correspondent are written by students in journalism classes. As a part of class, these students also do work on the layout and advertising for the paper. With the help of advisors Mr. McDonell and Mr. Wilson, this year's Correspondent staff did a great job of keeping Hersey's student body informed. by Mary Latzel EDITORIAL STAFF: Mr. Dan McDonell, Advisor, Colleen Kelly, Editor,' Mari Brinkman, Editor. 1 jamil Khoury and Pinky Ronnett discuss ideas for the layout.
