Girls' Cross oun try un or Success The 1980 Girls' Cross Country Team had a much- improved season over last year, with an overall re- cord of 3-3. Connie Costello and Laurel Wagner led the wa y to a tie for sixth place in the conference meet, getting tenth and eleventh, respectively, which earned them an All-Conference title. They also Hn- ished in the top Hfteen in the district meet, with strong Hnishes by the rest of the team to gain them a seventh place Hnish. Besides the regular conference meets, the girls had invitationals on Saturdays at Antoich, Woodstock, Homewood-Flossmoor, and Maine West, Where there were as many as 25 schools competing. The team consisted of two seniors, four juniors, three sophomores, and one freshman.
