Cheerleaders ire Fans John Hersey's football cheerleaders for the 1980 season were enth usiastic, in vol ved in many activities and, above all, supportive of the team. During Home- coming Week the cheerleaders sold mums, had an alumni reunion, K which was a success! and surprised the football players with speciall y made pillow cases, and by decorating their houses. The cheerleaders also provided a great deal of pep to the pep assemblies to try to get the crowd rowdie. ' Each of the captains did a great job of leading their squads. The captain of the freshman squad was Becky Schram and the sophomore captain was Chris Mi- chaels. The junior varsity captain was Colleen Ger- aty. Captain of varsity cheerleaders was Terri Conlon who worked alongside Fall Club captain, Craig Schachtschneider. This was the third successful year that we ha ve had Fall Club. Sponsors for all the cheerleaders were Mr. RJ Hannon and Mrs. Bridget Lucas. They also did an exceptionally Hne job. by Klrsten Dalley Cindy and Tony Frankiewicz show true cheerleader form.
