j 0 Grads Leave our Happ Years On Monday, June 9, 1980, at 8:00 p.m., Hersey's gymnasium was filled with proud parents, relatives, and friends as 488 graduates marched in the gymnasi- um to Pomp and Circumstancef' Grace Park began the ceremony with the Invocation. Other student speakers for the evening included Julie Swanson, Ja- net Winkowski, and Steve Lovi. Richard A. Bach- huber, Board of Education, and Dr. Robert G. Weber, Associate Superintendent, presented the diplomas. Herse Students 11j0 Spring Activities The Spring of 1980 was Hlled with exciting even ts and enthusiastic athletic teams. Many students participated in extracurricular ao- tivities held in the spring. Some of these included archery, badminton, baseball, gymnastics, softball, tennis, and track. The spring play, Prom, and Graduation were all well worth the Wait as the year was coming to an end.
