Monica Wendall stays ahead of her opponent. Girls, rack Sen ds Two ownsta te The 1980 Girls' Track and Field Team, coached by Claudia Oleson, had a victorious season. They ended their dual meet season wi th a record of 5-4, and placed eighth in Conference and seventh in Districts. The teams most valuable member was Linda Walkowiak, who received a first in Districts and sec- ond in Sta te for shotput, Carolyn Pasterski received second in Districts and also went to Sta te for shotp ut, placing sixth. Other outstanding members were Cheryl Karna tz who was third in Districts, and Julie Joy who was fourth in Districts, both for the 440. Although they had much bad weather all of the girls Worked hard and put forth a great effort throughout the season. ' Sandy Reeve takes the lead. Speedy Renee Feder- SueH1ndman shows offherrunning skills. Sherri Brown, Maureen Hogan and Sharon Amundson take a lap around the track.
