Student ouncil Has Busy Year Student Council, an organization made up of 15 to 20 representatives from each class, was very in- volved in activities this year. Some were traditional activities such as Grass Day, when they plant flowers and generally clean up the school grounds,' Penny Day, to support the orphans they sponsor,' Valentine telegramsp Christmas Assembly, and Spirit Week. New this year were the computer da ting match-ups, float competition during Homecoming Week, and sending Christmas cards to the teachers. The four ofhcers this year were President Karen Lange, Vice-president Dave Adelman, Recording Secretary Lynn Foloky, and Treasurer Rose Vaz- zano, These four, along with any committee chair- men, make up the Executive Board. Theymeet once a week to set up the agenda for Student Council meet- ings, approve new committees, check point totals for Council members, and take care of anything that comes up.
