Strike U The Ban d! The 1980-'81 Hersey Band was a top competitor in Illinois again this year. Then they held performances and sponsored other events throughout the year. The band was busy this year participating in many competitions. A few of them were the Soldier Field Music Bowl L Octoberfest, and University of Illinois and Northern Illinois University Field Parades. Their big competion this year took place in Cape Cod, Mas- sachusetts. All groups involved in band participated in a performance. The annual Pops Concert took place in March.
