Wrestlers Win M.S.L. Conference Championship! The Huskie grapplers once again upheld tradition by capturing their fifth straight Conference title. For the first time in five years the Huskies lost a Conference dual meet. The team captured the District title by qualifying seven wrestlers to advance to sectionals. After a very tough sec- tional, three grapplers went on to the State Finals in Champaign. They were Mark Furlong, Eric Strutz, and Gary Hodge. Coming out on top for the Huskies was Mark Furlong with a second place finish in state competition. All in all, it was a great season for our wrestlers, and we look forward to great things in the future. by Pam Yaroch Joe Rizza gets ready to make his move!
