Vars it Golf This year the small ballers really teed-off. The golf team had a fine year this year winning their first 11 meets and then losing their next 5 meets. They placed first in the Conference meet. They then, because of the law of aver- ages were 2nd in Conference. Of the Varsity golfers that played regularly, all but one will be returning next year. One outstanding golfer was Ed Stubbs. He set team rec- ords and also took first in the individual honors. Also out- standing on the fairway was Ray Hafner. The only senior that played, Ray tried harder in the number 2 position. The overall team average for the year was 160.7 . The high average of the team was shot by Ed Stubbs with a 42.
