Bus Stop Introduces Theatrical Year On the weekend of October 25 and 26, the Hersey Thea- ter presented Bus Stop, a comedy by William Inge. The superlative performance greeted a rather large audience. The play did not consist of a plot, rather it developed a se- ries of character portraits . The lead roles were portrayed by Diane Buteau, as Cher- ie, and Scott Rothermel as Bo Decker. This comedy, which takes place about 30 miles west of Kansas City, centers around an arrogant coWboy's love for a shady night club singer. They, together with a group of several unique indivduals, were gathered in Grace's Diner after their bus was stranded during a blizzard. Other cast members included: Laura Bobowski, Jill Thomas, Carl Wurtz, Cameron Pfiffner, Bruce Granquist, and George Simon. The play was designed and directed by Jerry M. Lowe. Huskies Play In Fourth Straight uper Bowl! ! Hersey football teams have provided their fans with ac- tion and excitement ever since the first Huskie team marched on the gridiron. This year was no exception! Winning is something that is tradional in Huskie country. This past season our varsity squad played in its fourth straight Super Bowl and was crowned North Division Champ for the fourth consecutive year. The highlights of the season were many, but perhaps the most exciting moments came at the tension filled game against Buffalo Grove at Homecoming. Through skill, de- termination, and spirit, the Huskies stopped the Bison stampede by beating them 14-13 before more than 6000 fans. The Huskies played a fired up Schaumburg team for the M.S.L. championship but fell short, losing 7-6. Hersey placed eight players on the Mid-Suburban All- Conference list. They inclued Scott Topczewski, Jeff Forster, Dave Carey, Kevin Temesy, Roger Urban, and Paul Cortez. By Cindy Krejcik Jeff Forster keeps possession of the ball Pass Complete!
