Bus Stop Introduces Theatrical Year On the weekend of October 25 and 26, the Hersey Thea- ter presented Bus Stop, a comedy by William Inge. The superlative performance greeted a rather large audience. The play did not consist of a plot, rather it developed a se- ries of character portraits . The lead roles were portrayed by Diane Buteau, as Cher- ie, and Scott Rothermel as Bo Decker. This comedy, which takes place about 30 miles west of Kansas City, centers around an arrogant coWboy's love for a shady night club singer. They, together with a group of several unique indivduals, were gathered in Grace's Diner after their bus was stranded during a blizzard. Other cast members included: Laura Bobowski, Jill Thomas, Carl Wurtz, Cameron Pfiffner, Bruce Granquist, and George Simon. The play was designed and directed by Jerry M. Lowe.
