Debaters Confront Pollution Issue Resolved: That the Federal Government Should Establish, Finance and Administer Programs to Control Air andfor Water Pol- lution. Such was the topic that engrossed Hersey's debaters this year, making them experts in the field and aware of present state, local, and national regulations. The Debate Team attended numerous tournaments from Southern Illinois University to Arlington Heights, and gathered valuable pointers from workshops. Research, long hours of practice, and early morning awakenings are part of the debater's world. Endeavoring to master argumentative abilities, they find themselves criticized, rated, and always learning. C? Stubbs, Jan Coy.
