Members of both clubs met regularly with sponsor Mr. Ted Strand in their newly re- furbished radio room adjacent to the elec- tronics shop. The Service and Repair Club concentrated its efforts on the servicing and repairing of electrical appliances and radio and TV sets that faculty and students wanted repaired on a cost basis. The members of the club gained valuable experience in electrical repair work while at the same time providing a service to the Hersey community. 72 Mg---4 ff! ' .. -11 .fyx 5 1 ,Kok 0 .. . , . Q Q! In their next two outings, the team lost triangulars to Lane Tech and Maine South. Shaping up, the tankers next trampled Elmwood Park and edged East Leyden, 49-45. The Huskies then dropped a pair to Forest View and Waukegan before drowning their next three opponents. After a loss to Ar- lington, the tankers finished their year by beating Wheeling, 55-40.
