Rick Noll suavely tries to impress Karen Connor. John Heidemann and Debbie Huff discuss their relationship. 'Can't Take It With' Uses Double Casting You Can't Take It With You, the winter play, January 29 and 30, afforded those attending a time to relax and laugh. One of the main production innovations in the presentation was a double cast which alternated roles for performances. The theme of the play dealt with a family looking for the American dream of total in- dependance from the rigors of society and the problems which arise for the family in society. The grandfather, titular head of the family, expounds his philosophies and dreams on all who enter the household, whether they be friend or foe. Visitors to the house soon become mem- bers of the family if they stay too long as in the line: Look at Jim, he came to dinner once and decided to stay. Student Council Faces Problem Solving Year Faced with the ever constant problem of student unrest at the way things were be- ing run, the Student Council under President Roger Obst attempted to satisfy, through diplomatic channels, the desires of the stu- dents Whom they represented. Through weekly Council meetings and more frequent meetings of the Executive Board, the Council listened to suggestions of groups and students and tried to solve or follow through on appropriate action. This often involved petitioning the ad- ministration to make changes in school policy. Most suggestions requested were effected and resulted in greater student freedom and recognition of one's individuality.
