Acknowledgements When the last pages of the ENDEAVOR have gone to the printer and the staff is resting from the rigors of many nights' Work trying to get materials for those ever-present dead- lines, there comes the final task of acknowledging the extra efforts of those persons who helped the staff with this publication, but, who have, heretofore, gone unmentioned. First, for the patience, advice and suggestions they offered, we must thank Messrsl Norman Koenig and Ernie Rubak and their assistants Pat Kelly, Doris Spyer, Mary Ann Smith and Jeri Schultz. Without the combined efforts of these people the publication of the 1971 ENDEAVOR would never have come to its fruition. Secondly, the staff at Root Photographers, and especially Mrs. Marjorie Dompke and Miss Kay Eilert, warrant our heartfelt thanks for providing us with service and photographs that appear in this publication. Without the many men responsible for the taking of these photo- graphs and the behind-the-scene work of Messrs. Gus Wamashiro and Joe Ogata publication of the 1971 ENDEAVOR would have been im- possible. , Finally, our thanks to students Marsha Schnirring, Dave Newson, Nola Ringenoldus, and a host of others who varied efforts helped in the production of this book together with the unceasing cooperation of teachers, sponsors, coaches and administrators.

Q 9 Man For All Seasons Dcpicts Everyman Although set in the sixteenth century during the tumultuous reign of Henry VIII of Eng- land, Robert Whittinton's Man for All Seasons could have been said to carry a portrait of modern man as he often finds himself caught in the dilemma of being true to himself or true to the establishment or system. Presented May 21-22, the drama was in the words of director Mr. Jerry Lowe, The finest overall production both technically and dramatically that I have been associated with in all my years working with high school students. Heading up the cast in the title role was Keith Szarabajka as Sir Thomas More. Lend- ing strong support to the cast were Mike Byrne, Wade Miller, Vince Monteleone, Laurie Lacher, Jan Andrews, Jim Catanzaro, John O'Connor, Paul DiLorenzo, Mark Fullerton, Mike White, Ken Meyers, Yvonne Allie and Roger Obst.
