Keith Szarabajka listens intently as his nephew Tom Kropp confides in him 'Thousand Clowns' Portrays Realism Portraying one part of the realistic side of life, A Thousand Clowns, presented May 22-23, 1970, dealt with society's attempts to alter the lives of contented persons. Playing the lead role of Murry Burns was Keith Szarabajka who received support from Tom Kropp who played his nephew. Rounding out'the cast were Steve Carson and Esther Ratner as the social workers who attempted to have Nick taken away from Murry's custody. 'Terpsichore' Theme Of Orchesis Concert Thirty-two members of the Orchesis troupe combined their talents to present Terpsichore, April 23 and 24. The theme of the group's effort was the expression of themselves through the medium of the dance. Under the direction of Mrs. Cynthia Duffy, the troupe's repertoire included selections ranging from the traditional ballet to the more free-spirited modern dance and jazz. The preparations for the concert allowed the girls to show their creativity, not only through their original choreography, but through the creation of their own costumes and lighting effects which they planned. Bonnie Bowker, Pam Walsh, Barb Tomcko, Debbie Jahnke, Gail Becker and Cathie Malaval stop to look at the stars. The story of the beautiful islands is told by hula girls Debbie Jay, Vickie Moore, Diana Sample and Rea Geiger. 10 A R-I 9 if Q P92 Ri 'J
