El Paso played such teams as Peoria Manual, Peru, La Salle, Pekin and several other strong team In the first quarter El Pa o had us puzzled with their reserves and trick pliys Before ve knew it thev h-d m de three touchdown in the first quarter Since our line unexperienced, it is logical th t they would win these plays, but it only took us one quarter to get on to them From th t point on, N9 outplxyed them two to one we were in their ten y rd line four time- but could not put it over t1pt.in Lochrer and Jayne.Amidon played outstanding Lall in this game Amidon playing the whole game with an injured shoulder.
