1 iii ff? E S ri MR. MIKE SORTAL Mr. Sortal, ASSISTANT to Mr. McCol- ball coaches in the state of Illinois and has 1 5 lum, is undoubtedly one of the finest basket- S i had many championship teams. Mr. Sortal is a sincere and capable administrator whose efforts set a shining example for those of us at Herrin Junior High and South Side. Lx A MR. LES MCCOLLUM Mr. McCollum is the PRINCIPAL of Herrin Junior High and South Side. Well known and popular, he is a major influence in the daily lives of most junior high students. We think of Mr. McCollum more as a friend who always has our best interests at heart than as a principal. MRS. LOU REAGAN Mrs. Reagan, SECRETARY, to Mr. McCollum, is not only a very efficient secretary, but also a helpful, friendly, cheerful, and understanding person. She is a second mother to the students at South Side and Junior High. We all owe a lot to Mrs. Reagan and hope she will be here for many years to come.
