--one-M.-. t- DEDICATIDN We are approach1ng the peak of our performance yet It seems that the curtain has Just risen As the end grows nearer and nearer we wonder if our show will have been a success Each of us look back and remember the part that we have played Several things are brought to mlnd but some are more out standing than others one of them the band No show would be a success without a band In our case the Hernando High School Band In 1944 Mr George Kayton came to Brooksville Florida and took the position as band director at Hernando High School Under his able leadership with a small number of students he created a fine band which over the past and the present years has Won state wide recognition The band members have worked hard and have earn ed the recognition which they hold It IS our greatest hope that they will continue to work hard expand and achieve even greater honors in the future With these thoughts in mind as we the Seniors of 1956 leave these halls of Hernando High School we de dicate to you Mr George Kayton and the band member who have devoted their time to help make our band what it is today this edition of our Leopards Growl 41-Q , . 1 x , . - H - .ww ' f l-Vw S' 1 .
