'll 5 'ill 11 In our f1rst year of Jumor Hlgh School we ga1ned qu1te a few members Annabelle S1nger returned from Sprmg Lake and brought her cousm Mary Sue WSTBICRS Also from Spr1ng Lake came Ben and Mary Ruth Batten Sylv1a Bond from V1rg1n1a An1ta Gldeons from Otter Creek and Homer Truett from Tampa helped to enllven the class Mar1on Welch who left us 1n the f1rst grade returned but left agamn and returned to stay 1n the mnth grade Alfred Scott came to us from Alabama 1n the emghth grade and helped to make thmgs more mnterestlng for the g1r1s Tyrone Chap man came from Lake L1ndsey Jack Crump came to Flor1da to es cape the cold of l1l1no1s and Herbgrjgook w1th h1s real cool trum pet blew ln from New Jersey Our Rat Year Mar1e Coco arrlved from Cleveland Just 1n t1me to get a wh1ff of perfume and see the remams of 11PSt1Ck Our Sophomore year we took the Sen1ors to Red1ngton Beach for our Sophomore Sen1or party Bay rejomed us that year from Fort H5555 Then came our Jr year After hard work and a wonderful Jun1or play Beauty and the Beef we f1n1shed the year off as p1 rates at the Jr Sr Prom Joyce Waller left Inverness and moved here Chr1st1ne Bearden parted w1th Alabama and Joyce Debusk from M1ch1gan At long last after eleven years our Sen1or year f1nally dawned We crowned Joyce Garland M1ss H H S at the Holly Hop work ed l1ke mad for money for Washmgton and crossed our f1ngers unt1l graduat1on. For the last m1le, Gall Black reJo1ned us Delores Sch1ll1ng came from Lakeland, Loren Hanson from Tavares, Jerr1 H1cks from Tennessee, and Carolyn Mltzlaff, from New York, and Ca1v1n N1le from Malne.
