Escape From Algebra This is bizarre. Here I am in this classroom feeling totally isolated. I am bored. I don’t like being bored. Being bored makes me nervous. Very nervous indeed. The walls. Are they moving? Nol Get a grip on yourself. But they’re moving. I swear it. They’re moving in closer, constricting me. I’ve got to get out. I eye the door. No. impossible. I'd be gunned down before I could work the security bolts. Windows? Barred. Anyway, it’s a 500-foot drop onto the rocks. Thinkl Tunnel — Locigal. I slowly slip down in my seat and peel Up the tiles. Yes. it’s possible. I dig. Using my fingernails, teeth, and a short pencil I dig a hole. It gets deeper, longer. Have I cleared the classroom yet? Probably. I dig up. Wowl I’m in the hall. I made it.
