SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Seated: Secretary, Sharon Reardon: President, John Page. Standing: Vice President, Ralph Tozier; Treasurer, Mary Sue Allen; Assistant Treasurer, Sally Bartlett, not pictured. SENIOR CLASS REPORT The Senior Class began its last year at H. H. S. under the supervision of our class advisor, Mr. Withee. We elected the following class officers: President, John Page; Vice President, Ralph Tozier; Secretary, Sharon Reardon; Treasurer, Roberta Stevens; and Assistant Treas- urer, Sally Bartlett. John Page was elected President of the Student Council and Ralph Tozier was chosen Vice President. During the year Roberta Stevens left us and Mary Sue Allen was elected to fill her office. Our goal was to earn enough money to go on a class trip and to have a successful gradua- tion. Our Hunter’s Breakfast was very successful, contributing a substantial amount to our treasury. The Senior Class is very grateful to Mr. Carr, Mr. and Mrs. Withee, Mrs. Free- man, Mrs. Page and Mrs. Clark for the help they gave in making the Hunter’s Breakfast a success. Other money makers were the sale of ice cream, candy, potato chips, and hot dogs. Our class excelled in the magazine drive by winning both prizes of $25.00 each. Iona Freeman served as General Manager of the drive and Sally Bartlett was her assistant. Mary Sue Allen was captain of the Senior Room. Office secretaries in the Senior class were Iona Freeman, head secretary; Mary Sue Allen, Sally Bartlett, Eddie Conant, Marcia Cutler, Barbara Dansereau, Mary Ann Jordan, Phyllis Keating, and John Page. Members of the class chosen to the National Honor Society were: Mary Sue Allen; Sally Bartlett, Patricia Carle, Ronald Clark, and Bernard Duplisea. Bernard Duplisea served as President and Mary Sue Allen was Secretary-Treasurer. Boys’ Varsity Basketball players were: Bruce Newcomb, Ralph Tozier, David Grant, and Bernard Duplisea. The manager was Kenneth Hartley, and his assistants were Ed Conant and Alan Pinkham. Girls’ Varsity Basketball players were: Sally Bartlett, Carolyn Cousins, Iona Freeman, Charlene Gellerson, and Mary Ann Jordan. The manager was Mary Sue Allen, and her assistants were Sally Bartlett and Marcia Cutler. The boys who tried out for spring baseball were Gary Bishop, David Grant, Kenneth Hartley, Thomas Homsted, Ralph Tozier, and Bernard Duplisea. Members of the “HAWK” newspaper staff were: Pat Carle, editor; Sally Bartlett, Ron- nie Clark, Mary Sue Allen, and Tom Homsted. The majority of the Senior Class were hosts and hostesses at the reception given for the retiring Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Earl C. McGraw. This brings an end to all our study worries as well as the fun we have had during our school years at H. H. S. We will be sorry to leave, but fond memories of our school days will linger with us always.
