Girls Varsity Volleyball Division II West Champions — Undefeated Our belief at the beginning of a doubtful undertaking is the one thing that insures the successful outcome of our venture. JV VOLLEYBALL The 1980 |V Volleyball team, finishing in second place, posted a highly successful 10-2 record in league play. The team displayed outstanding abilities despite the fact that 8 members of the 12 girl squad had never played Volleyball before. The key to the winning team was the ability to serve. Next year's team promises to be more experienced and to portray the same qualities that made this year a winning season

Scott. The 1980 boys’ soccer season cannot be characterized as a successful one when the records are looked at. However, most of the players had a very good attitude throughout the season and kept their determination strong when many games the score was against them. If the returning 19 players take with them the experiences that they gained and can exhibit the qualities proven this past year, the 1981 season should show an improvement in the sports program. 19

WRESTLING The Hermon-DeKalb wrestlers had a very good year. The Varsity and Junior Varsity became the division champions, this being the second year in a row for the J.V. Wrestlers. The Junior High wrestlers did very well also, and it is hoped that their continued good performance will convince more of our students that they also can become champions. Many team members made the First team All Northern Athletic Conference and won Divisions Championships. They have worked hard to become the champions they are. 1st Row: M. Fenlong — Manager, W.
