4 t I ( k Mrs. Provost, Elementary Mr. Forbes, High School Principal On behalf of the school, and par- ticularly the students, I offer our ap- preciation and thanks to the Demon staff and advisor for producing this fine yearbook under difficult circumstances. The school year 1976-77 will be many of us will long remember. The most important happening, in my judge- ment, was the manner in which H.D.C.S. students handled themselves during a very frustrating time when it looked as though there would be no interscholas- tic athletics this year. Full credit for obtaining the winter sports programs must be given to you. Even more im- portant to me, however, was the very adult like behavior you displayed. You did not accept defeat, while at the same time you did not become unruly, vicious, or childlike in your actions. You have my highest regard and I, per- sonally, am extremely proud to be associated with you. Best wishes, John Sandwick Supervising Principal Mr. Sandwick, Supervising Principal t 3
