The time, devotion, laughs, and numerous memories that you have given to the stu- dents and faculty of H. D. C. S., represent to all who know you, the true qualities of a teacher, in every sense of the word. And for this, along with many other things, we Thank You. And as a token of our appreciation, we dedicate to you, Mr. Bray, the 1975 edition of The Demon . 2 My name is Veronica Aguilar and I am attending H. D. C. S. this year as a foreign exchange student from Mexico City, Mexico. I am 18 years old, the youngest in my fam- ily. I have 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Before I came to the U. S. I attended a Secretarial school called Camara de Corn- erica In school I am taking mainly English and business courses and am active in Volleyball, hopefully basketball, and am a typist for the yearbook staff. I like the school and I think that everyone is very friendly. I like life in the U. S. but am still trying to get used to the cold weather. 3 Francis William Allen Veronica Aguilar Sally Ann Bacon Dwayne Blandin Ritchie Brunet Mary Bulsiewicz Jean Mary Chapman Diane Lynn Coffey Bonnie Jean Dent Richard Dittes 7 Phillip Lee Denton Jackie Edwards Doug A. Mr. Sandwick Supervising Principal Once again I have the honor to present a brief message in the Demon and I'd like to talk about YOU and your voting privilege at 18 years of age. There seems to be no question that qual- ified young voters have not been exercising their voting responsibilities. The percentage of older adults who vote is not impressive either. However, the percentage for young voters is much worse. Schools are receiv- ing considerable blame for this irrespon- sible action. I hope that all of you have re- ceived, or are receiving, a background that places this duty high on your list of priorit- ies. The right to select, by vote, our govern- ment leaders and even our school board members is a man-made function, not a di- vine right. Please protect this legal right by exercising your vote. Don't be cynical by believing that my vote doesn't make any difference. It does count! Congratulations to Mrs. Peters and the Yearbook staff. Everyone should know that alot of hard work is necessary to produce this high-quality book. We all appreciate your efforts. Sincerely, John F.
