But the years have flown by and new things have filled our desires . . . clothes, the use of the family car, dates, and MONEY. Yes, and you. Mom and Dad, were the ones who always shared these little things with us. You laughed when we laughed; cried when we cried. You knew and understood that all these things were just a part of our grow- ing up. HERMON-DEKALB QUINTET WINNER The Hermon-DeKalb Central School basketball team post- ed a 75-64 victory over Heuvelton Central in a game played this past weekend. Hermon-DeKalb led 18-13 at the end of the first period and then moved into a 38-28 halftime edge. The winners were still out front 51-43 after three quarters and stretched their lead to eleven at the game's end. D. Knowlton took game scoring honors with 43 points in a losing cause for Heuvelton and C. Wright had ten. Hermon- DeKalb was paced by Lynn Gray with 26 points and Douglas Dusharm with 24 while Bob Tyler had 13.
