■■■Ml HIS SENIORS The Hermon-DeKalb Seniors are happy to introduce -- THE DEMON. This year the staff has included pictures of all students from Hermon and Hermon- DeKalb Schools, Kindergarten to Grade 12. Attention is focused on the lives of the students in classes and in extracurricular activities. In the future we will leaf through the page, of THE DEMON and remember those happy days. In appreciation for all that she has done for us, we want to express our gratitude to some- one who deserves the credit for guiding us and for lending a helping hand through our high school years. She has been our class advisor for our first three years and, with her support, our school events have been successes. Without her time and effort, we feel that these events would have been failures. Because of the confidence she has had in us and because of her sincerity and understanding we dedicate the 1963 DEMON to Miss Mary Wake. 2 A Message from the Principal To The Yearbook Staff The production of a yearbook is a very challenging endeavor. You start with a group of people and many divergent ideas, then you finish with a book that is an accurate and interesting portrayal of student life at Hermon-DeKalb Central School. I feel that the staff has gained a great deal of satisfaction in producing this yearbook. The real reward however will be in ap- proval of those who purchase the book.
