EDMUND CHASE WE, THE SENIOR CLASS of the Hermon-DeKalb Central High School, dedicate the 1961 DEMON to Edmund Chase as an expression of our ap- preciation of HIS dedication to the youth of the community for many years. His wise guidance of the Student Council, his wide knowledge of history and its allied subjects, his inspired teaching, his fair and impartial treat- ment of all students, and his refusal to accept less than the best from each, have earned our deep respect. 2 HONOR WE GEORGE M. CLINE WE, THE CLASS OF 1961 of the Hermon-DeKalb Central High School, honor George M. Cline for his concern for the empathy with the students of this system. Through his guidance and encouragement each of us has gained better understanding OiB is problems and a greater degree of self respect. Because of his efforts seniors have profited from never-to-be- forgotten trips to Washington and New York City. We honor Mr. Cline with a feeling of gratitude at having known him both as a teacher and as a friend. 3 % FACULTY SEATED - -Lowena Manning, Barbara Johnson, Dorothy Cathers, Mildred Warren, Marie Redmond, Geneva McIntosh, Alice Bigelow, Mary Wake.
