LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THE GLASS OF 1954 We, tho Senior Class of 1954, of Hermon-DeKalb Central School, in the County of St. Lawrence, State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish, and dc«j. cL-i re this to be our last will and testament in the manner following; First; To the teachers we leave our gratitude and ad- miration, and our not too carefully prepared recitations and our marks, good and bed alike. Second: To the Juniors we leave our way of getting away with almost anything and all the iun and excitement of a Senior Trip. Thirdi To the Sophomores we leave our patience. Don’t worry kids, you’ll soon be Seniors. Fourth; To the Freshmen we leave all our nonsence, Last of all, we have some precious personal posses -'-' sions to bestow upon the underclassmen in our parting. Rita Reynolds bequeaths her big-jbrown.,flirty eyes to Louise Austin, and her bookkeeping workbook to whoever wants it. Gordon Hamilton wills his liveliness to David Holland and his ability to get out-of-town dates to Ronnie Bovay. Eva St. John wills her act of going steady to Sandra Bacon, and her job as Secretary of the Student Council to anyone who wants it. Robert Miller wills his ability to get along with the girls to Orley Me Colluu who is already off to a good start, and he also wills his ability to drive a Pontiac to Billy Vining. Beryl Baker leaves her red knee socks and the Teddy bear she used in the Senior Play to Mabel Cross, but she wills Don to no one I’. Stanley Barr loaves his crown as King of the Ballonn Boll to Schuyler Bush, but wills the Quocn to no one.

Harley Merithew is the understudy for the clown, Emmett Kelly with Ringling Brothers Circus at Madison Square Garden, Jimmy Sayer who discovered oil in the middle of Times Square is now affiliated with Standard Oil Company, and it is rumored that he is a can , didate for mayor of New York City, Phyllis Roy has succeeded Sophie Tucker as the Last of the Red Hot Mamas, and is now appearing at the Latin Quarter, Gordon Hamilton is now head of the most unique dairy in New York City, Gordon has discovered a way of milking hippopotami in the zoo and has revo- lutionized the dairy business, Eva St, John and Marvin have secured a patent on the purse- sized telephone and are threatening to put Bell out of business. Stan Barr - is now replacing- Eddie Fisher on ’’Coke-Time and his latest smash hit is Come Back Little Sandra Beryl Baker formerly Dr, Claflin’s head nurse at Belle- vue, has resigned to become his bride. Shirley Hance and Ronald Penlong have replaced Lunt and Fon- tanne as Broadway’s great romantic duo and are now starring in Wonderful Town , Rita Reynolds model for Maybelline, has been unable to choose from her many admirers and so has de- cided to investigate the male situation in New York, Geneva St, John has become a guide at the United Nations, and Sherman Cook is currently reported to be interested in the delegate from Afghanistan, replacing Private Schine on MaCarthy's sub- committee has been investigating Casey Stengel for winning five pennants in a row. Bob Miller is the new dance king of America and has taken over the Authur Murray studios. Thus you can see the Class of 19%k survived and are enjoying themselves very much in New York City, May the same injoyment and excitement be felt by the Class of 196I|.,

Shirley Hance wills her way to get a boyfriend to anv .one who wants to get a T. V. set, and her neat appearanof Z Shirley Rathbun. e to Ronnie Fenlong wills his masculine figure to Gary Maitland and his ability to watch T.V without ruining his eyes to Sammy Me Combs. Phyllis Roy wills her ever-jovial disposition to Patty Spriggs, and her ability to get along with the principal tn Phyllis Foley. Sherman Cook leaves his beautiful blonde hair to any of the girls who might be driven to peroxide. We wish to take with us only our Senior rings, our diploma's proof of our achievments and all our memories of the good time we have had during our’stay at Hermon-DeKalb Central School. DeKALB CLASS WILL I, Winston Bishop, leave my ability to get along with the teachers to Gary Frisco, I, Olen Bristol, leave my ability to play basketball to Joe Conant, if he can find it.
