BAUD The band under the leadership of Mr. Robert Robinson put on it's annual concert and exhibit May 29. Those playing solos were Betty McCarty, Jane Sprague, Howard Ritchie, Anne Harmon, Elinor Fields, Mary Gardner, Laura Reynolds, Robert Gardner, Gretchen Harmon, William Hendricks Lucille Walker, and Fern Bigelow, The band also played a number of other selections. At the Junior Senior Plays and at Graduation, the b- nd .also made it's appear once by playing a few numbers .at each. At the beginning of the year the following officers were.-electi-d: President—Mary Gardner, Vice-President Laura Reynolds, Librarian—Ford Reynolds, and Treasurer Ho rd Ritchie.

Third (L. to R.); Raymond Hall, Howard Ritehie, Gordon Westherup. BASKETBALL T7e started the 19 3- years by playing the town team. As we were not so expeerierreed as they, we were defeated by a large score of 4-8—14-. The following game being on a strange court was also a defeat. Our next two games were victories. We won over Gouverneur FFA by a mangin of 5 points and the score , with Hcrmon on their court surprised us greatly. It was 30-17, our favor. We defeated Hermon again when they came here but we lost to the FFA boys at Gouver- neur. During the year we also played Edwards and Renesselaer Falls. We won over both places on our home court, but were defeated by them on their courts. We had no Junior varsity this year because there were only eight boys eligible to play.
