We appreciated the generosity of Richville, Gouverneur and DeKalb business men, who made possible such a publication. The Yearbook has been printed by the York Press of Gouverneur, New York. We enjoyed preparing this book, and believe that in years to come, we and our subscribers will enjoy still more looking back to school days through its pages. (14)

Mrs. Burston has been faculty adviser; Miss Carpenter, supervisor of typing. The Board of Education continued its policy of financing the paper, so one of the problems which usually makes such a publication difficult, has never been faced by the local staff. The staff of 1940-41 approached more nearly the goal of a paper “of the students, by the students, for the students.” It realizes that it only approached, however, and it wishes the 1941-42 staff the best of luck in achieving this desired goal.
