Debby Sandefur, school secretary, may occasionally be found keeping class! A pre-schooler, Little Miss Anderson, some- times feels the need for some baby sitting from high school principal, Mr. Riley. Dee Creswell represents the cafeteria staff, who works to keep the staff and students well fed. Coach R. Peel often gives students words of encouragement in both academics and athletics. Coach Peel is shown making a speech at a pep rally. Mrs. Ruth Davis serves as the librarian for both elementary and high schools. She works diligently to keep all books in order and to assist students and teachers in any way possible. 9

Administration Mr. Jerry Church, Hermleigh l.S.D. Superintendent, says he feels it has been a successful school year and feels that the entire student body has made great strides in academic and social achievements. Mr. Church is looking forward to future years at Hermleigh. Mr. Tommy Riley performed his duties as High School principal but he also taught in history, health, and government. Mr. Riley also sponsored 7th and 8th grade classes. Mr. Billy Haynes served as Elementary School principal and supervised the activities of the faculty and students.
