My name is Bruce. My sister Maureen and I have come to spend the day' with you. At last we are going to see life at Herkimer Central High School and get a glimpse of what we have to look forward to as future high school students. It's about time for us to begin our longfawaited venture. Won't you come with us to see your own, happy, active life as we shall see it? There, our dear old Alma Mater Stands throned 'midst hills of green, As the white clouds bend above her, She's the fairest ever seen. Oh, her sons and daughters love her With a love that knows no end, And with garlands fair entwine her As her honor they defend. Dcwzm Cloeeringpr the Magicians The time for our visit has come to an end, but there is an important part that we have not yet mentioned. During the year, we have attended many sports events. We can still remember the excitement of the Pep Rally on the night before Herkimer's thrilling victory over Ilion. We liked the teamwork that spirited the basketball team to a strong finish, the important role of the championship minor sports teams, and the fun of watching the spring track meets and baseball games. Maureen and I were impressed by the skill, sportsmanf ship, and school spirit displayed at each of these events. '+-1' .- .fr-Y-,mu ' ' Iw , M , , , 1 w V f . f .'., ' f.
