ON THE DRAMA OF HIGH SCHCDOL LIFE All the world is a stage, And the men and Women merely players. Of all the dramas presented on stage, screen. radio, or television, perhaps there is none more convincing for this class of 1951 than the real life drama in which they have participated during their four years at H.H.S. The variety of courses and extracurricular activities have provided scenes for four acts. In spite of the length of the drama the running time has seemed short for the players. Therefore, in this 1951 edition of the 'Ye Green Quill, the stall have reviewed the spotlighted scenes in high school life. Curtain going up! 5

I I To the parents of the class of 1951, the staff respectfully and affectionately dedicates this edition of the 'Ye Green Quill. All too few seniors realize the important part parents play in graduation from high school. Maiiy, perhaps, regard graduation as a selffcompleted honor. However, it is the mothers and fathers who provide the very properties, costumes, and perhaps even rehearsals for this drama of high school life. if 'A' Now, hefore the spotlight is focused on drama at HHS, the staff would like to express deepest appreciation to the parents of the class of '51 who have done so much to make the play, which has run for a four-year season, a success. 6
