Volleyball Exhibits Exceptional Talent Heritage Volleyballers went a long way this year, taking the district cham- pionship and placing third in state. The Eagles' only regular season loss was to Englewood early in the season. The Eagle team, under the direction of Mr. Dan Troxel, worked well together, which showed in their victories. Out- standing players were Srs. Tammy Weatherly and Alison Harmes, and Jr. Becky Meyers. G 104 Swimming Girls' Swim Team Is Inexperienced The Girls' Swimming team consisted mostly of inexperienced freshmen and sophomores. Coach Steve Bailey said that this was the maior reason that the team's win and loss record was the low- est ever. Despite the 4-7 record, the team did send five people to state com- petition including: Sophs. Kim Penna- packer, Val Skufca, Cindy Desch, Joy Endres and Fr. Amy Stuart. Coach Bai- ley expressed his pleasure ofthe team's progress and looks forward to a better team next year.
